He alleged that illegal detentions have become a common practice, with police taking family members to the station without cause. Activists have been picked up from various locations, including Tirupati, Tenali, Chilakaruripeta, Tadepalle, Markapuram, Pendyala, Guntur, Tiruvur, and Hyderabad.
