Munugode village witnessed a major burglary spree early Thursday as thieves targeted five locations, including a sweet shop, residences, and the forest office. The total loot is estimated to exceed ₹15 lakh, comprising cash, gold ornaments, and silver.

The burglary spree began at Nagaraju Sweet House, where the thieves indulged in sweets before emptying a cash box containing ₹70,000.
Local Leader’s Residence Targeted
The thieves then moved to the residence of Mudangula Narasimha, a local leader, making off with ₹2.5 lakh in cash and other valuables.
Other Premises Struck
They also broke into the house of Venigala Purushottam, stealing ₹60,000 in cash and 500 grams of silver.
