KCR Confident of BRS Returning to Power, Slams Congress for Poor Governance
Hyderabad: In a bold statement following months of silence, BRS president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao expressed unwavering confidence that his party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), will return to power in Telangana. Speaking to party workers from the Palakurthi Assembly Constituency at his Erravalli residence, KCR outlined his belief that the people of the state had realized the consequences of the current Congress government and the loss of the BRS’s leadership, which had long nurtured Telangana’s growth.
Pointing to growing unrest among various sections of society, KCR highlighted the frequent protests against the ruling Congress party as a sign of dissatisfaction. He assured his party members that despite the Congress government’s failures, the people still had great faith in BRS.
KCR criticized the Congress government for its underperformance over the past months, emphasizing that the public was closely observing the situation. He reiterated that BRS would reclaim power, stressing that governance was about action, not empty promises. The former Chief Minister underscored that BRS had delivered on over 90 percent of its manifesto commitments, and even introduced additional schemes for the welfare of the people.
KCR also condemned the Congress government’s handling of party leaders, citing police harassment and unjust cases against BRS members. He assured party workers that they need not fear unlawful actions and encouraged them to continue their fight through legal means, urging them to remain committed to their work.
The meeting saw leaders from various parties joining the BRS in KCR’s presence, further solidifying his belief in the party’s imminent return to power.
