
Three-Day Event Welcomes Devotees and VIPs with Cultural and Religious Festivities
Ram Lalla anniversary celebrations : The holy city of Ayodhya is alive with devotion as the first anniversary of the Ram Lalla idol consecration ceremony begins.
Scheduled from January 11 to 13, 2025, the three-day event offers an inclusive opportunity for devotees and 110 VIPs, many of whom missed last yearβs historic ceremony, to participate in the grand festivities.
Grand Religious Ceremonies
The anniversary began with the recitation of Yajurveda, followed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performing the ceremonial βabhishekβ of Ram Lalla.
A grand aarti was held at 12:20 pm, with an elaborate offering of 56 dishes presented to the deity. The temple has been adorned with flowers, enhancing its spiritual grandeur.
Cultural Programs at Angad Teela
To accommodate a large gathering, a German hangar tent capable of hosting 5,000 people has been set up at the Angad Teela site.
Devotees can witness daily cultural performances, Ram Katha discourses, and rituals in the pavilion and Yagnashala.

Local resident Anup Mishra expressed his gratitude, saying, βI couldnβt attend the Pran Pratishtha last year, but being here now feels like a divine blessing.β Sarla Maheshwari, a devotee from Bhopal, added, βWe came early to fully experience these auspicious celebrations.β
Inclusivity and Unity
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has emphasized including common devotees and saints from across India, alongside the VIP guests.
βThis celebration is for those who missed the original consecration. Everyone is welcome to join,β said Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Trust.

Devotees can continue to enjoy the ceremonies and festivities until January 13, marking a memorable celebration in Ayodhyaβs sacred history.
